Ann, I'm very happy because you are going to visit me. Initially, I didn't believe when you said that you would come to Brazil, but it has already happened to me, and now, I'm almost married with a 'net friend'. So, I believe you are really coming (aren't you??) (no, I don't want to get married with you!!!).
Ok Ann, pay attention to my words, they can be very important:
· When you arrive here, you are going to be in Brazil.
· If you are in Brazil, you have to eat Brazilian food, use Brazilian money and buy Brazilian things (you can eat Italian, Chinese or German food and buy things from another countries, but always paying with Brazilian money).
· As you are coming to my house, and I live in Rio Grande do Sul, as soon as you arrive here, you are going to be in Rio Grande do Sul. Listen: you shouldn't compare us with the rest of Brazil. Many years ago, we had a big war here and it didn't work out as we wanted. Because of this, we don't like the rest of Brazil very much (I do, but I prefer us!!!).
· If you take a bus, you have to enter by the front door. If you take a taxi, you can choose. But there are no taxis here where I live. We are going out by motorcycle (so, you don't have to worry about the bus door).
· Do you know 'chimarrão'? Of course you don't. I think you should try it! It's a kind of bitter and hot and green drink. It's weird, but we love it! In other parts of Brazil, people drink it with cold lemon juice, instead of hot water, but we are stronger than them.
So, Ann, I think that's it. With these tips, you can survive here. I'm waiting for you!
(nada a ver, mas faz tempo que eu não venho aqui, e eu não tinha o que escrever...)
